This large FHBRO designated dairy barn was built as a centre for dairy research in the 1920’s. It presently houses the National Argriculture Museum. KWC undertook a restoration of the exterior envelope including rebuilding of all existing windows, rebuilding of the existing cupola, reinstating the original ventilators which were previously removed, roof replacement, as well as trim and cladding repairs. One highlight of the project was the historical and chemical analysis of paint samples for the complete reinstatement of the original colour schemes. The final phase of the project was the installation of a new fire sprinkler protection system.
