Stephan Katz is the founding partner of the firm having established the practice more than twenty years ago. His experience spans two continents having practiced in Prague, Frankfurt/Darmstadt as well as Ottawa. Fluent in three languages (English, German, Czech) Stephan continues his involvement in off-shore projects on an ongoing basis. Stephan is a practiced project administrator who has been involved with the management of many of the firm's largest and administratively complex projects. His overlapping interest and expertise in the areas of project management, coordination and construction review and administration form a backbone strength of the firm.

Stephan likes nothing better than to be up to his knees in mud on the job site and paper in the office, especially on technically challenging projects. A particularly rewarding experience in this regard was his involvement with the award winning Marshall/Four Corners this regard was his involvement with the award winning Marshall/Four Corners rehabilitation project located across from Parliament Hill. Stephan was the partner behind the documentation and construction review of the project which was carried out jointly with the National Capital Commission's Visitor Orientation Centre.
Doug Clancey is one of the School of Architecture at Carleton University's first graduating class in 1973 and became a licensed member of the Ontario Association of Architects in 1978. A partner in the firm since 1991 Doug brings a wealth of experience in building design, construction and management to the firm. Over the years he has developed particular expertise in project management, building envelopes and scientific environments. Besides being the design force behind some of the firm's environments. Besides being the design force behind some of the firm's award winning projects, Doug serves as major technical resource in the firm. Doug is deeply committed to the profession. Over the years he has served as vice-chair of the City of Ottawa Committee of Adjustment and has sat on the council of the Ontario Association of Architects and the executive of the Ottawa Regional Society of Architects. Currently he is a member of the Ontario Building Code Commission and is the chair of the National Building Code Part 5 (Environmental Separation) committee. If he's not working your likely to find him in the backwoods or on the water somewhere skiing, hiking, rowing, kayaking or sailing.
