KWC has undertaken projects in Westboro and Kars for Tubman Funeral Homes. The Westboro project involved the retro-fit of the exterior envelope, a new formal canopy and minor additions, handi-cap access, circulation improvements, site plan reorganization, and new landscaping - all with an eye towards presenting a dignified presence in this urban location. The project in Kars was for a modest new facility in a rural context taking advantage of the long vistas of its location. The program included a chapel, administration spaces, lounges, and technical support areas.
